About Wilmington

Whiteface SummitNestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, Wilmington is located in a premier location with the well known Whiteface Mountain placed in its backyard. Wilmington offers breathtaking mountain scenery, hiking and biking trails, water access, and plenty of winter activities such as skiing, snowmobiling and much more. Along with its close proximity to Whiteface Mountain, Wilmington is just a few miles from Lake Placid, New York, home to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. Lake Placid is full of shopping, restaurants, art, culture, and entertainment located right on Main Street (Route 86), which leads straight to The Owaissa Club. For year round (four season) activities, you cannot get much better than the Wilmington area.
